DAY 1 / Sep 12, 2025 (Friday)

The excitement before the journey begins! Today, group members will gradually arrive at a remote frontier town in the Northwest Territories, ready to embark on an Arctic expedition with C2U’s professional travel expert Maggie.

Here stands the northernmost Catholic church in the world, quietly nestled within the golden hues of this Arctic town—radiating a transcendental sense of calm.

Nighttime brings anticipation: if skies are clear, we may witness the first aurora of our trip. Under a sky full of stars, the dancing Northern Lights may begin to weave their magic, lighting the prologue of this Arctic tale.

DAY 2 / Sep 13, 2025 (Saturday)

Morning marks the official launch of our Arctic journey! We’ll arrive at the Arctic Ocean coastline, standing at the “end of the world,” facing the vast expanse at 70°N latitude. The salty chill of the wind brushes our faces—ushering in the spirit of the far north in full force.

Cultural highlight: Visit an Indigenous home, taste ancestral recipes, and learn about traditional language, clothing, and hunting techniques. You’ll discover how closely “living” and “surviving” intertwine here—yet life is still filled with warmth and dignity.

DAY 3 / Sep 14, 2025 (Sunday)

Today we journey deeper into the Arctic wilderness, entering the Eagle Plain region—truly stepping into the embrace of untamed nature.

Scenery grows more dramatic: golden shrubs stretch across permafrost plains, snowy peaks appear on the horizon, and the roads alternate between rugged twists and straight lines slicing through endless tundra.

This is a paradise for wildlife. With a little luck, you may spot moose, Arctic foxes, or even wild sheep perched on distant mountain slopes.

By dusk, we’ll arrive at a retro-style hunting lodge—its walls adorned with antlers, bear hides, and snowshoes, like a museum of Arctic heritage. Sip a warm drink beneath a chandelier of moose antlers, and swap stories with fellow travelers around the hearth.

DAY 4 / Sep 15, 2025 (Monday)

Onward to Dawson City—once a dreamland for gold seekers. During the Gold Rush, this town boomed into the most bustling settlement of the Far North. Today, it still brims with wild frontier spirit.

The Arctic scenery unfolds all around: endless frozen tundras, winding glacial rivers, and snow-covered mountains shrouded in morning mist. Strolling through Dawson City, we follow in the footsteps of Jack London and revisit his legendary tales of the northern wilderness.

DAY 5 / Sep 16, 2025 (Tuesday)

We arrive in Whitehorse—capital of the Yukon, and gateway to the North. This city is a confluence of adventure and culture, a place where modern life and wilderness coexist in harmony.

Along the way, we pass through awe-inspiring Yukon ranges, where glacier lakes and conifer forests compose a vivid panorama. Upon arrival, you’ll discover Whitehorse is both remote and vibrant—wooden buildings, colorful murals, and welcoming locals all tell stories of the North.

Evening is yours to explore. Enjoy a cozy drink and reflect on the magic of the journey so far.

DAY 6 / Sep 17, 2025 (Wednesday)

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Yukon Visitor Centre, where visuals and exhibits tell the legendary tales of this land. Then, we’ll enjoy a leisurely walk through Whitehorse, absorbing its unique Arctic charm.

Bonus: The Yukon has one less provincial tax than others—making it a great place to stock up on outdoor gear!

DAY 7 / Sep 18, 2025 (Thursday)

The final day of our journey—no alarms, no rushed itinerary. Wander through the quiet morning streets of Whitehorse, visit a post office or a charming café, and send a postcard to your future self. It might carry your awe, longing, or simply a goodbye to this remote wonderland.

If you wish, take one last stroll along the riverbank, watching snowcapped peaks reflect in the Yukon River. Or pick up an old book about Arctic survival from a local bookstore—your personal souvenir from this unforgettable journey.

As the plane lifts through the clouds, don’t forget to glance back—because you’ve truly reached “the edge of the world,” and the light and shadows of the North will remain forever etched in your memory.
